Everything was delicious, with so many options I was skeptical. I got the California Steak and Cheese, was delicious but I had to pick off the red onions, when I ordered I assumed they would be yellow onions. I’ve never ordered a steak and cheese and had it come with red onions, I prefer yellow. My wife got the gyro and the lamb was some of the best I have had! We also ordered Motz Sticks, wow some of the best Motz sticks I have ever had. Next time we travel through we will be trying the pizza!
Let me tell you something, this food, was amazing!! I got 3 tacos with ground beef with no onions, and added cheddar cheese. It comes with 2 free garlic knots, which were to die for. I will absolutely be coming back here again. The service was impeccable. They were so kind and very personable. I absolutely felt welcomed and appreciated for joining them. One thing that is very rare is when the cook comes out to speak to you, I thought it was so nice that he came out to ask how the food was. Even if the food would have been disgusting, I would come back for the service alone. I can’t wait to try the pizza and the empanadas. It was a small little shop and I didn’t expect it to be this great. Very soft ambiance, just felt like a nice little shop for locals. I’m not from the area but rest assured I’ll be back very soon!
The hoagies were great, also very big we had enough for another meal or two. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The tamales are alright, in this area I would say the best that is available. Chips were fresh and salsa although not enough for the amount of chips provided was good. We would grab food here again.
This review is from an out-of-state visitor. First of all the portion sizes from this very interesting mixture of cultural foods, are huge. The Verde sauce and guacamole were outstanding. Everything was very fresh. We ordered several items thinking we would share, kind of small-plate style. Not one item got eaten completely, due to size. We did not try the pizza, but are looking forward to doing so next time. Friendly and helpful staff. You simply cannot go wrong here.
When I'm not working on a Monday, I take my wife to work in the morning and I'll pick her up when she's done. On 2/17/25, we decided to have dinner on the way home. She mentioned they order lunch from Amigo's on occasion so Amigo's sounded like a good idea for dinner. SHOUT OUT to Jose Angel! Jose gave us phenomenal service from the time we walked in until we left! You better have a monster appetite when you order. The portions served are HUGE! My wife ordered a wrap, it was STUFFED, and the fries portion was big too. I ordered a Stromboli Special. The only item not in the Stromboli were onion, by request. The Stromboli took up one half of a pizza tray, was at least two inches high end to end, and a perfect golden brown. Like I said, you better be hungry. My wife and I are looking forward to having dinner there again in the near future. I'll skip lunch next time. GREAT SERVICE,GREAT FOOD, GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!!
Visiting my mother in the hospital from the New York area. We’re very particular about our pizza. Slices were proportionate, staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean! A nice spot on the Main Street, got to sit out front and watch the beautiful sun
Italian, mexican and more. Everyone can find food they will like at Amigos! I love a good simple street taco and they don't disappoint. Very loaded and full of flavor.
No matter what I get from this place it's always delicious haven't been let down yet everytime we eat in the Waitress is always awesome this place makes you feel welcome and wanting to come back
